Walk the Ionian Jewels of Corfu & Paxos
An Unspoilt region of Greece

The largest of the Ionian islands, Corfu has always been known for its exceptional beauty. The countryside is varied, with high wooded hillsides, abundant olive groves, rocky cliffs, coves and lovely sandy beaches. As you walk, the azure blue sea is almost never out of sight.

Visitors, particularly in spring, will be amazed to see how green the landscape is, enhanced by the yellow and purple flowers of the eastern Mediterranean shrubs. Its quieter neighbour of Paxos is an island of endless olive groves.

The more tranquil Paxos, is an island of endless olive groves with quiet sandy beaches, fishing hamlets and, of course, the traditional Greek welcome.

About The Route

The Corfu and Paxos walking trails follow parts of the well known Corfu Trail as well following almost forgotten traditional paths. Moderate days are interspersed with more challenging walks on hilly and mountainous routes. Pathways are generally well kept cobbled kalderimi, dirt tracks and sometimes stony routes.
